The Sistine Chapel.
Natural beauty.
Star Wars and at the time, there were armed officers with really big guns everywhere much like in Israel.
Ocho Rios, Dunns River Falls, local nightlife, beads, and raft vendors.
I’ve spent three separate weeks on the island between Punta Cana and Santa Domingo. These were my first Caribbean trips so I spent a lot of time on the beach, the pool, and enjoying the all-inclusive nature of resort vacationing. Lots of snorkeling and resort packaged excursions.
Nature’s paradise – active volcanoes, hot springs, rainforest, sea, insects, and animals. I would definitely go back.
Shots fired at the convenience store three minute walk from the home I was staying in, the infamous shark and bake on the beach in Tobago, 5am nightlife with a 7am hungover ferry ride as gloriously loud gospel singers graced us with the three hour merciless wavy ride to Tobago.
Some of the best street food I ever did eat.
One of my top 10 beaches worldwide – Varadero. Old Havana with old cars and cigars.
Scootering around the entirety of Cozumel after taking a local ferry, being an archaeologist for a day in Tulum, enjoying the white sand beach on Isla Mujeres, and enjoying every morsel of food.
Circled the entire island, trekked to the top of Mount Liamuiga where we saw a proposal, walked around the citadel at the top of Brimstone Hill, swam in the aquamarine waters off many beaches, took a ferry to Nevis, and did some off roading through the rainforest trail.
Gros Piton trekking, fish fries, mudding, waterfalls, and beautiful scenery.
Swimming with the fishes!
