“As the next chapter rolls in and the seasons begin to change endings come and new beginnings form. The summer was like no other and the experiences, moments, people, and giggles shared will always be there to flow through the doorway of my mind on any given day. In those moments, there is no doubt I will pause and smile. It’s 12:00 midnight somewhere and my carriage has arrived. Who knows where the next door will lead but, I am forever grateful for this one.”

Summer of 2018 led me on the most magical journey to which I was not expecting. It started in Turkey for two weeks, then Athens and Agistri, Greece for a week. Next I visited Egypt, Jordan, Israel and the Palestine Territories each for seven days, to go back to Santorini, Greece for another week, with a cap off in Paradise Island, Bahamas. Every single moment of the trip was simply perfect. It was everything I wanted from exploring the planet – new cultures, experiences, languages, food, people, sceneries, landscapes, physical activities, fun, laughter, and connections. I knew then there would be no doubt in my mind, no second guessing, no hesitations when it came to leaving home for a year for more adventure. The last leg of that trip in August 2018 was from Spain to Toronto. The first leg of this trip in June 2019 will be from Toronto to Spain. Where one story ends, a new one begins.
