It’s that part of when two magnets are attracted to each other and you slowly begin to pull them apart. The magnets pull each other in and resist separation. With just a little more effort guiding in opposite directions, the bond is broken and each magnet is released from each other.
This is how I felt leaving for the airport. I was being pulled – to stay and to go. The fear of leaving and the anticipation to start. It’s a strange feeling. Like a kitchen sink salad when all ingredients get slopped together. The push and pull of a cornucopia of emotions.
Now I sit and stare out the window wondering what’s to come.
Oh, and that daypack? I was standing in the security line for about 20 minutes weighted down in agony. 850 kms with this thing. Are you kidding me?!?
